| 18 | 19 7:30 pm-8:30 pm Sep/Tue/2017 The Players 16 Gramercy Park S, New York, New York 10003 Bernstein, Hammerstein, Sondheim & More Shana Farr pays tribute to the legendary performer Barbara Cook who created many of Broadway’s great soprano roles, from Cunegonde (Candide) to Hilda Miller (Plain and Fancy), Marian Paroo (The Music Man), Amalia Balash (She Loves Me) and more. Miss Cook also starred in Broadway revivals of Oklahoma!, and Carousel, as well as revivals of The King and I, and Show Boat. She then traveled the world performing her solo shows in grand concert halls, on Broadway and in the intimate rooms of cabarets and supper clubs. In addition to live performances, Miss Cook can be heard on at least forty-four albums.
