I’m excited to continue in the role I created of “Louhi”, a pivotal character and the evil enchantress in “KALEVALA – The Musical” – a story of ancient legends told by the spirits of the haunted forest of Kalevala, it is adapted from the national epic poem of Finland. Several translations of Kalevala have been a source of inspiration to authors such as J.R.R.Tolkien who acknowledged the direct influence of Kalevala in his Triology. The story has been set to an ethereal yet powerful pop, folk and world music score written by Johanna Telander. We have another private staged reading June 28th, at the Pershing Square Signature Theatre.
